I'm beginning with that rom hacking stuff and I like to keep the original gameplay, so that hack is very simple, just edits some graphics and palettes. Tools used: yychr and Stake

Desc: around 200 years prior the events from Castlevania 3: Draculas Curse, Mathias Cronqvist, the new vampire who would become the legendary Count Dracula, finally found the legendary castle of Lord Olrox. Now it's up to him to take Olrox's castle and minions for himself to begin his new dark empire and finally unleash his revenge against humankind. Are you ready to be one of the greatest villains of game and literature history?

Lol I thought that was RPGe's mistranslation of "バッツ". I know Butz is also the official Japanese name for Bartz though.

The gameboy Seiken Densetsu (lit. Legend of the Holy Sword) was a fair-to-middling Zelda clone with some predictable plot development and really great music. Its sequel, Secret of Mana, is a SNES game with some deepening of the gameplay elements and story, and some of the most killer music ever produced for a SNES cart.

The sequel to that game has never been released in the States, it's known as Seiken Densetsu 3. It's one of the three games in Seiken Densetsu collection which is supposed to be out this fall, but no one is sure if it'll come stateside or not.

...What is confirmed to be coming stateside and this is news, is Secret of Mana itself. As someone who played this game when it came out in the 90s, I am stoked as ****.

Secret of Mana? As I recall that's the series that started out as a Final Fantasy spin-off. I've only ever played Children of Mana (NDS), but I really enjoyed it. Maybe the others are worth giving a try?

These are my games that I currently own. I have trouble deciding what to play yeah. I think I was just playing Secret of Mana, I beat Killroy and got the Water Seed back. Now I'm saved at Neko's before the fight with Jabberwocky or Geshtar or whoever it is.

Legend of the Crystals was a special project for me, I was given some data and the permission of RPGe to edit their script up a bit. I tried not to go overboard with it, making a few changes here and there, mostly just removing swearing (FF5 has kind of a mellow atmosphere for Bartz to be yelling SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT) and putting in a couple lines from the GBA version. I made a couple of classic-gaming themed jokes I guess, and put in some minimal piratey-ness for Faris, a little wink to those who've played the FF Anthology version, where Faris is just flamboyantly piratey.

I still remember when he was called Butz.

This is Final Fantasy 2 Reblanced. I tried my best to soften up the game's harshness, and cleaned a few swears out of the script and spelling errors too. The info for it is in the readme, I believe. Characters have had their 'cleanslate'-ness removed, and now have base stats that reflect the kind of fighter they are suggested to be by the weapons they come equipped with. There is new armor you can buy in the Demon Village that makes the endgame a bit lighter on you as well.

It ain't Chaos Rush but it is an easier version of Demiforce.
